Currently

PIN’s Medical Ministry has been growing since our first nurse volunteered in 2005; we now have 5 nurses that volunteer every month. In 2007 we were able to provide prescriptions for every homeless person that was in need, and came to our nurses for help. We are now in the process of forming a partnership with the CFNP (Christian Fellowship of Nurse Practitioners). This partnership will help us provide better services to the homeless.

Future

PIN wants to create a clinic for the homeless of Virginia Beach. The homeless don’t have easy access to medical care, and what they have is not always the best. We want to create a system of health care that will give the homeless access to doctors and nurses, which is something that most of us take for granted.
