PIN's Story
2002
It all started in June 2002, when Anne Stamper served 12 sandwiches to five people. By the end of 2002 PIN was serving 60 people.
2003
The number of people that PIN served grew to 100 people and PIN began giving out clothing and hygiene supplies.
2004
In March of 2004 PIN began to offer medical services to the homeless through volunteer nurses. PIN became a non-profit organization in May of 2004.
2005
In August of 2005, PIN began offering a Biblical service called PINnacle to the homeless of Virginia Beach. PIN also continued to enhance all existing service to the homeless.
2006
In January of 2006, Dallas Stamper became PIN’s first full-time employee.
2007
In 2007 PIN began to purchase and rehab mobile homes to help get homeless families off the street. PIN completed 3 mobile homes in 2007.
2008
In January of 2008, PIN began a partnership with Recovery for the City to provide recovery groups for the homeless of Virginia Beach.
